DOG MODELS WANTED...

How would you like to have professional photos of your dog created by some of the world’s top pet photographers - absolutely free?

Barkjavík is a pet photography workshop hosted by 3 of the world's leading dog photographers - and we need dog models.

Dog models do not have to be obedience school valedictorians - but they should have some basic training such as sit and stay.

The only requirements are that:

Your dog is comfortable around busy locations, people, and other dogs
You're willing to spend a few hours with us and can commit to showing up if selected.

It's ok if:

Your dog is a flight-risk and must remain on a leash - as we will edit the leash out of your final images.

Shoots will be held on the following dates.

On your application, you'll be able to choose which of the 10 options below works for you. The more options you are available for, the more likely it is that you will be selected. Each session will last approximately 2.5 to 3 hours.

May 29 - Wednesday - Reynisfjara Beach - 3pm

May 30 - Thursday - Stjórnarfoss 8am

May 31 - Friday afternoon at Stokksnes and Diamond Beach

June 1 - Saturday late morning at Stjórnarfoss

June 3 - Monday - 8am in downtown Reykjavík

June 4 - Tuesday - 7pm at Reynisfjara beach

June 5 - Wednesday - 6am at Skogafoss

June 6 - Thursday - 4pm at Diamond Beach

June 7 - Friday - 4:30pm at Stokksness

June 8 - Saturday - 11am at Stjórnarfoss

All model parents will receive a complimentary collection of high-resolution digital files so that they can enjoy their images as they wish, from sharing online to printing for their homes.

These are typically valued at several thousand dollars but are yours free as our way of saying THANK YOU for taking the time to model for us.
